TSB's for Turn Signal Issues
I own a '02 C32 with Xenon headlights and am having recurring problems with corrosion on the turn signal socket and now I think the problem is in the head light connection.
Is there a TSB for this? Is it covered under warranty?
TIA
Sean

There is a modified front indicator socket available for the W203 which recieves it's power dirrect from the wiring harness and earth from near the strut tower.
I was warrantable during the initial warranty but you'll have to buy it now, MB probably won't provide assistance. The parts are cheap and the installation is easy, you don't need to replace the headlamp.
Part number A203 826 0182, one required per side.

Ausmbtech,
Thanks for the quick reply, I do appreciate it
The car is going to the dealer on Monday for their diagnosis, hopefully they will cover whatever is wrong under the extended warranty.
If not, it is good to know there is a relatively easy fix that does not require the headlight to be replace. Not up for that bill....
Thanks again!

The dealer covered a new wiring harness under the extended warranty and performed the procedure listed above. They know the problem exists, yet there does not seem to be a definitive TSB and no recall.

The post above contains a DTB (dealer technical bulletin) which is just as significant as a TSB.
