I know this sounds dumb, but I cannot figure how to open up my airbox. Someone please help!

alright... when you're looking at your engine, take a looksee around the airbox, and find the seam where the top and bottom parts come together. Somewhere along this seam should be a clasp. This will be a hook-type clasp, so you pull out (a little), push up, and free the hook. Sometimes the hook cn be a little hard to free, as sometimes the securing point can get corroded. BE GENTLE with it. In extremis, use a very very small amount of WD-40.
