2002 Mercedes C230 Kompressor Coupe
C230 HELP!!!!
oh here is the deal ...... im buying one i found ..... i realllllllllllllllly always loved them and i keep on getting its a poor mans benz... well so be it ..... Anyway .... how are they.......


its a 2002 69k miles...... MbTex seats panaramic roof ,htd seats . blah blah blah..... its a one owner non smoked in...... the owner before me traded it bcuz they just had back surgery..... oh carfax clean to . lol



Anyone wanna warn me on things ? that i need to know....

If it is the 1.8 liter engine avoid it, although I think the 2002 models have the much better 2.3.

Unless you're in Europe, It's a 1.8L, it's only called a C230. The last year for the 2.3L in a C class was 2000. MB did put the 2.3L (111 Engine) in the SLK until 2004.

Wrong. Here in the US, the last year of the 111 2.3L engine in the c coupe is indeed 2002.

I guess I could be wrong, but in CA when the W203 came out in 2001, the only offerings were the two v6s C320 and C240. When the C230k came back in 2002 I thought it was a 1.8 (In CA). Didn't make since to me because they kept the 2.3L in the R170 until 2004.

in late '02 the sedan came out as 03 model with the 1.8l. the coupe had been running the 2.3L up to that point where they both got the 1.8. to the best of my knowlege, the 2.3 was never in the 203 sedan in the US>

have you allready purchased the car?
i strongly advise you to drive a C240 before you purchase the kompressor.if you allready own it then congrats and enjoy.
