How does one disconnect the hose from the front strut on an 01 cl55 with ABC. I have a leaking front strut and I have remove the upper and lower mounts. The only thing preventing me from pulling the strut out is the line. It looks like a quick release air line hose connector, but it won't move? Ant suggestions would be appreciated. Steve

pull the rubber dust boot up ,then pull hard ,it is a quick dis ,you might want to use some slip joint pliers ,they are hard to open sometimes ,good luck ,

Have you bleed off the pressure in the system?
The connection is difficult to get apart and together, I usually use 90 degree plyers and a lot of force.
