I just took my newly acquired '02 E320 to the gas station to fill up on gas and to squeegee the windows, but to my astonishment, as I lifted the single wiper blade it started making a clicking noise and froze in that position. As I pulled on it harder, it made a louder clicking noise. Is this normal? and how far can I bend the wiper blade back before I damage it? Is the wiper blade defective? The manual only states to "fold wiper arm forward." Seems easier said than done.
