Having trouble installing HID's
Hey guys, just bought 09 c-class P1 and I planned to install the HID's only problem is they start flicking at start up or turn on and off. My friend who is a Tech at MB can't even figure it out so i was hoping someone has had the same problem and figured it out. When i bought the conversion kit the rep told me to buy the cancellation kits as well to somehow tell the ECU that it's running at a different wattage, but they still don't work. I realize that HID's run at a lower wattage than halogens just don't know how to program the ECU to do that. Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Return the kit. Some of us bought the MTec kit and they are fine. The kit includes ignitors inside the ballasts. No need to re-program the ECU.
