2001 C240 won't start

I went to the grocery store and things were fine. Came out and the car won't start. Lights come on and everything works. It turns over just fine, just won't fire up and start. No errors on the display. It's still sitting at the grocery store.

Any advice?

Thanks

Since is spins over but won't start. Difficult to answer with limited info.

CPS failure won't allow plugs to fire or injectors to trigger.

Gas in tank

Update.. It started later last night but it seemed like it was running a little rough and the check engine light came on.

Yes, there is gas in the tank.

Now you've got codes and therefore clues. Read them.

Lacking codes, the CPS is a very common fault that fits your initial post.

Ok, where is the CPS located? I've seen diagrams on here that show it kinda on the side, by the cylinder. Nothing there.. Is it on the back of the engine by? Anyone have a picture?

First, what are the codes? They may point to something different.....

The CPS reads a sensor on the flywheel. Its located on the trans bell housing; unsually on top on the drivers side.
