e500 airmatic help
ok first post, but have been a forum hound for a bit. just got my first MB a few weeks ago. having issues with the airmatic though.
Its a 05 e500 4matic. was driving cross country to san diego (FYI need a good mechic in the area too!) and just as i hit the grand canyon, my visit workshop msg came on, with and arrow pointing up under the car, not sure if that means anything, which i'm sure it does, i just haven't learned it all yet, but figuring it has to do with the fact that when i go to rise the car via the button, nothing happens, and as when i press it again. wondering if there is a control unit for the airmatic that may have gone bad during the trip or not. I'm taking it in to a local german shop on thurs to hookup to the computer and see what comes from it, but any thoughts from you guys? thanks in advance.

gull you were right, had computer checks down, pump is shot. relay, pump and labor, 600 bucks. he said i'm lucky it got stuck in the up position other wise i'd be screwed rubbing on the fenders
