Adjusting Comand CD tire size codes
Does anyone know how I can access the Comand tire size code screen to change it? I have a 2002 G500 with the CD system. I have larger diameter tires 275/18 that are within the 3% safety parameters.
When I dig into the NAV or System screens, the size screen appears but gives me no change option.
I understand that the various traction control systems and so on will not work correctly/safely unless the tire size is dialed in.
I am afraid of a safety issue.
The dealer says something about if they give me the info I can roll back the odometer. I would never do such an illegal thing and besides the service history is fully documented with mileage.
