1993 300 CE BRAKE Squeel & Pulsating

1993 300CE:
The right passenger side brake is squeeling and the pedal is pulsating. My MB specialist told me that it would stop once I put new pads and rotors on. I did, but it didn't stop. It only does it when i come to a complete stop at a light. Some times it doesn't do it at all.

So far we've replaced brake pads [textar],grease seals, rotors [balo], and the right side caliper. The right side is still squeeling and the brake pedal is still pulsating. I sound like a freight train coming on rails.

Does anybody have a clue what this could be. I'm tired of guessing with my check book...My MB Specialist for the first time is clueless.

It could be a warped wheel too. A warped wheel will not allow the rotor to seat evenly. Rotate you rims front to back ans see if it goes away.

I let my specialist keep the car over the weekend.

What are the brand for original MB pads?...Textar pads are currently installed. Any suggestions on pads? Maybe that could be the source because we have tried 2 sets of textar pads through this entire process with no success.

Thanks

original mercedes is original mercedes

have your rotors resurfaced...not sure what the original brand is..but this is something I always do at the dealer. Oil changes i can go anywhere but brakes and rotors I will always buy from the parts deparment at my dealer.

Give it a try, let me know how it goes.

Check that the rotors (called discs in the U.K) are seated cleanly on the hubs and that there is no run-out. Check with a dial gauge on the rotor outer edge, there should be no more than two/three thou. The previous owner of my 124 had removed the hub with a hammer and dented the edge so the rotor was not sitting flat. Derek. Scotland.
