E63 Engine Ticking...help

I noticed (for the first time) a rather lound ticking noise coming from what appeared to be the left side of the engine on my 09 E63.

This was the first time I drove the car in temparatures under 50f - the noise seemed to go away after about 15 minutes and was less apparent (but still there) when it was fully driven for 30 minutes)

Any advice would be apprecaited, is this normal? the car has 400 miles on it

Thank you

yeah, it's normal - seals get dry and re-lube after being run for 15-30 mins...

I assume u don't drive your car that much - or haven't?

ticking from the exhaust manifolds as they warm up are not uncommon either. I say normal.

Thank you - you're right, I dont drive it that much but this was the first time I heard it so pronounced and I thought it was due to the cold weather..not expected in a class like this..
