MB tech, please help

My freindly MB tech tried to lower my 2000 S500 via the airmatic computer program, but was unable to find what I was told could be done.
You are supposed to be able to lower car by 1/2" by setting airmatic to "rest of world" or something like that. Apparently, Non -US cars are set at this lower height.
Can you shed any light on this?
Thanks

I've never seen it done that way. The only way I have seen are the kits that trick the sensors into thinking the car is higher than it actually is, thereby lowering the car to what it thinks is normal, but is in fact lower than stock.
