when i accelerate quite quickly or sometimes kickdown ill shift from 2nd to 3rd in manual mode and ill hear a screetch, while accelerating in 2nd the car will feel slugish or not pulling to its full potential, maybe my belt is bad or needs tightening im a bit inexperienced so i need some help

its a 2002 mercedes c32 amg 80k miles
