124 230TE sunroof fix
Hi all,
I recently bought a 1986 W124 230TE and its been a bit neglected which I am working through slowly.
My issues with the sunroof are that it wont budge an inch.
Control switch does what it is supposed to and the motor tries to tilt and slide but the roof panel doesn't move at all.
Firstly How do I access the underside of the roof as the headlining is in the way, secondly does anyone have any clue as to why the roof doesn't budge?
It is currently sealed on 3 corners with the rear left hand corner down 3/4's of an inch.
Im guessing this isnt a cable issue as the motor loads up and stops when I try to open the roof.
Any clues appreciated.
