cleaning fuel injectors
i was wondering how i could go about cleaning the fuel injectors? can i take them out and clean them manually? what do i have to worry about when doing this? i don't want to use one of those FI cleaners you put in your gas because i doubt it will help much. if electronics are a big concern, well, the car in question is pretty old, so i doubt electronics will be a problem. so, can i just take them out and clean them?
oh, another question...
my uncle told me my car was misfiring, which he claimed is why it had a rough idle. what can cause a misfire? and how does it get fixed? i'm not planning on handling this problem myself (will most likely be going to the mechanic for this one) but if its not too much work, i will consider doing it myself. i guess i'm just not that well informed. what do y'allz think?
