2002 S430
S430 Door Assist Problem
The door assist feature for the front doors of my 2002 S430 is not working properly. Air can be heard, but the doors will not pull in. The back doors are working correctly. Recently, the air cleaners were removed and cleaned. Could something have been pulled loose to create a leak?

Can you hear where the air is leaking from? Listen close to the door panel near the door latch and then up at the front of the door near the hinge area..
after a while, the PSE pump will "time out" and stop trying to suck those doors shut until you hard reset the pump.

I can hear the air from both areas on the front doors.
After further checking, it appears the locking mechanisms on the front doors do not automatically rotate to pull the doors closed. Checked the fuses which all look okay. Not sure which fuse, however,operates the mechanisms if it does need to be replaced.
