Does anyone know what the error code 4012 mean and A70B ? I get this from the internal error codes via Comand.

Sounds like you need a trip to the dealer or indy shop since these are OEM-specific, internal codes (as you already know). Like yourself, I would be concerned with the 4012 code since it has a high number of counts. I have the W211 service DVD and none of this stuff is listed -- actually, it's pretty sparse on any diagnostic codes so I would think that you'd have the same experience if you bought the DVD for your yr/model.
