Dealer wants to put new front pads on BUT
I haven't gotten the break pad warning light yet? I went in to get my car inspected(state inspection) and they failed it and said it needs new front pad but I havn't need the (O) warning light yet.

Whats the min. pad thickness allowed? Could be the pad without the sensor on it that is under spec. Mabey somebody didnt put the sensors in last time.

2003 c230 magma, c5, c7, 6spd.
