live traffic display; headlight upgrade
US SL550 2007. Sirius. Xenons (not bi-)
Nav has bird's eye view. No ETA display on map. Nav DVD v. 9.0 North America
1) How to determine firmware version in nav?
2) Wondering if there is a way for the nav to allow display of real time traffic on the map, not too expensive hardware/software upgrade maybe to get the feature.
3) Would like to have bi-xenons, but the cost to put in new units isn't worth it. Anyone know of any bulbs that could be swapped in easily which would give better and whiter hi-beams

okay
So it turns out you cannot upgrade the nav system without replacing the whole thing.
BUT
you can put an HID into the high beams for very little money and a little bit of time .....
