1978 Mercedes 280E Throttle Linkage
I'm trying to repair a 1978 Mercedes 280E. I need to replace the Throttle Linkage. Any information about this issue (the accelerator sticks) or how to replace the linkage would be extremely helpful. i.e. manuals, info, tools, parts, etc...

Here's some links that might help you get your hands on a manual:

My dad had a W123 a few years back, and he did all of his own work on the car with nothing more than standard hand tools. The car never needed anything major, though but I'd say you'd be good with just a standard tool set.
For a throttle linkage, a pair of needle nose pliers, assorted screw drivers, and sockets/wrenches, should get the job done.
