Mercedes Benz CLK 320
W209 CLK 320 cab engine light is on. Please help
Hi guys,
So last night I started my car up and on crank it had the slightest of hesitations before it started, then the engine light turned on.
This morning I went to start the car up again and no light was on anymore. I still brought the car to a mechanic to be safe and they told me that the crank shaft positioning sensor needs to be changed.
What I want to know is —
does the crank shaft positioning sensor still need to be changed even though the light isn't on anymore ? They quoted me $370 for the job is this pricey ?
I gave autozone a quick call to see how much they sell the part for and they quoted me $54.00 for the part, however, it is only compatible if the car has a D4EUD Pollution control,
so does anyone know if this part would fit ? (Are 2003 CLK 320 cabs equipped with a pollution control ?)
Is this the correct part. Note: Application: With D4 EU-4 pollution control
