2005 C230 kompressor sedan rwd check engine light
Hi,
I just bough a 2005 mercedes c230 kompressor 4d sedan rwd with 114000 km (70000 miles) 2 days ago and the check engine light just came on this morning.
The car runs great, no weird noises, temperature gauge is stable, engine is not shaking or trembling. The check engine light came on while I was driving on the highway at 100km/h (60 miles/h) in the 6th gear. I've put gas yesterday but I did put premium fuel and I did close the tank properly.
I really have no idea of what's happening and since I just got the car I'm not used to problems that mercedes usually have.

Either the fuel is poor quality or the fault is transient. If the fault was serious you would slow down to 30km/h and go into limp mode.
With a diagnostic scan you will see the code. That is what you need.
