Question Paint problems on 2000 E320

Hi
Have posted in another forum, but found this forum is the proper one.

Purchsed E320 (2000) new, have had all the problems and then some.
Have just noticed that the paint on the driver's side door's are about to start rusting.(bubbling up) Don't live near the sea shore, but do live in the NE.

My question is number one when I point this out to the dealer what should I expect them to do?
Number two should I have been told that this car was in an accident before I purchased it. Have no positive proof, but too many things have gone wrong on the driver's side.

Welcome any suggestions!

Thank You

Bring the car to an independent body shop that is authorized for MBz's, see how they feel about the drivers side.

Well maybe not if the rust is related to previous accident damage. But this car was purchased new, so I think Nata1255 is asking whether damage to the car before it was sold should have been disclosed at the time of purchase. This could be a difficult issue to pursue three or four years later.

At the most the car has been through four winters, so it's pretty early for it to show rust. RJC's suggestion is a good one.
