Headling adjustment on W126

I need to lower the aim of my 560SEL headlihgts. Which way do I turn the screw to lower it? Clockwise or counter clockwise (Right or left)? I had a HID kit installed and they're awesome. But I feel the aim is a bit too high and I want to lower it so they won't be blinding oncoming traffic.

Headlight Adjustment

My owners manual had directions to adjusting the lights with distances and where to draw lines on the wall etc, etc. You might check there. I like the horizontal line of the halogen lishts to be parallel with the pavement, which I find I best gauge while I am driving and have a wall (or bridge abutment) or guard rail on my left side. If my light goes straight out, and dosn't fall or rise, I am happy.

I am not familiar with the beam pattern with the HID, but if they are straight across with a rise to the right (to illuminate signs and pedestrians) then it is similar to the hallogen lights.
