Key Not Recognized Every Morning
Hi all,
I own a 2010 E550 Coupe. This just happen lately, where every morning when I go to my car, I try to unlock it with the remote but it does not response. After I manually open the car with the key (it sets the alarm off), the key responses after. The car does not show any message saying the remote needs battery. What I do notice that once I manually open the car, the screen says KEY NOT RECOGNIZED. I had to put the key into ignition to stop the alarm from going off.
I can use the key remote ALL day after manually doing it once. The key become responsive again. I know it sounds weird but I cannot duplicate the problem at the dealer because it only happens if the car sits overnight.
Any suggestion? Could it be the system? Or should I replace battery even if the car does not say so? I don't think its the battery because the remote works fine all day after manually entering the car once.
