722.605 vs 722.600 Compatibility

I have a 1998 C230 with a bad transmission. I know that the 722.600 came from the factory as it is a US model. I was wondering if i could use a 722.605 from an SLK230. The Mexican 1998 C230 comes factory with the 722.605. I think the main difference in these transmissions is the 722.605 is stronger. Does anyone know if i can use a 722.605 in it?

Thank you for the quick reply. I will be trying to get a hold of one of these from a wrecked car.
