W221 questions on service and check engine light
I got a 2007 S550. Well maintained, had it for years.
I recently got out of warranty and of course my check engine light comes on.
My generic OBD II reader states that its a P0356. A misfire in a cylinder.
Not thinking, I just bought a new coil pack and changed it out. And of course, the check engine light came back.
My local indy said it MAY be my intake manifold but from what I read online I'm not throwing the correct codes for that.
I changed the coil pack, Coil to spark plug connector and spark plug. Is there anything you can recommend to try before paying $2k to get my manifold changed?
Perhaps the wire harness? And if so where to get said harness and difficultly in replacing it.
Also, I am up for my 90k service. I have an oil extractor but find that it takes FOREVER to change my oil with it. I have access to a lift, any DIY oil change guides that don't use an extractor? Or is it just standard procedure with a drain plug on that car?
And any other recommendations on what maintenance should be done at 90k?
Thanks in advance!
