I was wondering is it theoretically possible to put a E/S55 amg motor, trans and drivetrain in a 560sec platform. I know "anything thing is possible" but I was wondering if its easy to make work since the whole running gear will be from a 55. Just a thought.

If you have the money and the commitment, it is possible. But it is not 'easy'.

Mechatronix in Germany does this sort of thing all the time: old MBs with modern motors, etc.
