97 e420, 81 240d, 87 190-16v, Dodge Cummins Diesel
check engine electronics msg
Has any one had this message? I have a 97 E420. I have had this appear several times. I went to Schucks and borrowed an Actron Scantool but it didn't pull up any codes.

got a 210 and have had one eror code which read "oil sensor defective". i phoned mb and service bloke said he had never heard of that fault before. i went out ten minutes after booking the car in and bingo- the error message had gone. on the day the message appeared it was wet, so im guessing i must have run through a puddle and got some electrics wet.
