I am new to the MB world and to MB vehicles I use to buy Audi's. Anyway I bought a 2000 ML320. MY question is if the cooling fans on the radiator should turn on when I turn the air conditioning on. Mine don't or does it have something to do with the temp here being 30 degrees outside. i have never had a car that the fans didn't start when the air was switched on. I would like some input on this because the warranty runs out next month. Thanks

.....and dont forget the fan in front of the "radiator" (actually this is the condensor of the A/C which you see) are just the additional fans if A/C is on, and not the engine cooling fan which sits inside between the engine and the real radialtor. The aux. fans only come on when certain pressures (A/C) and temperatures (coolant) are reached. And its not like the AUDI's and VW which turn on the fans even when the car is parked, and scare the hell out of bystanders. :-)
