2010 E63 AMG, Dash turning Red
Wondering about instrument cluster going red and sometimes indicating Up shift>
The red dashboard has come on before Red line RPM under max throttle, What specifically does the red indicate ?
Is it based upon torque output, wheel spin with high RPM or ?.
When it has happened at around 5K RPM , could it be clutch slippage,
I get no error codes, a up-shift with the paddles clears red instrument cluster but it has happened prior to 7000 RPM.
Any ideas thanks
