Does anyone know how to power the 12V supply to be on constantly?

Does anyone know how to power the 12V supply to be on constantly?

I need the glove box power supply to be on ALL the time. How can this be done?

one way would be to keep the switch in the open position that disconnects the power when the close box is closed. probably a better way though.

No, I would think it would burn something out or drain the battery, as it wouldn't be the only thing left on. I need to figure out how to run a hot wire from the battery to the 12V plug. I have a new (older) but new MBZ phone that I want to keep in the car and keep it charging. In my older version CL's they had cradles. Id like to connect the cradle in the console and keep it there and run a wire to the 12V so it is always charging, even when I'm not in the car.
