2011 S63 AMG
AMG GTS Engine Choice
Somebody explain to me why the new C63 S engine has 37 foot-lbs. more torque
than the AMG GTS engine? I would appreciate a response from MB if possible, since I am considering the purchase of the AMG GTS. Since the price of the AMG is almost double the price of the C63S, I would think it would have the more powerful engine.

Chadzu,
Both the AMG GTS and the new C63S use the same 4.0L hot "V" twin turbo engine. My question is why does the C63S have 37 foot-lbs. more torque?
