Volume Dial Does Not Work Cold Mornings

Hello, I have a 2006 R350 and I have just noticed that on cold mornings the volume dial does not work. The radio, nav and everything seems to work fine, but the screen on the console also appears to be darker. Once the car warms up after about 15 min. the volume button works and the screen gets brighter. I have only had the car for several months so this is new to me. I am able to control the volume on the steering wheel during this time.

Mine has about 109k miles.

Any insight would be great.

Thank you

I just wanted to clarify that the volume dial on the command center (nav/radio) does not work on cold mornings. Once the car heats up it starts working, sometimes it does require me to turn the car off and back on.
