I have moved from the UK to Australia and taken my CLS 350 CDI with me. Although you can change the digital speed in the settings it would be great to change the analogue dial. The dealership said I would need a new instrument cluster at a cost of $3800 so I bought a second hand cluster,stripped it and took out the kms dial and put it in my cluster in place of the mph dial. The fitting went well but, on driving,the needle stops going past the 10 O'clock position even if I increase my speed. Does anyone know why this could be and what I can do?
