C230 2006 pressing gas but no move
Hi, this is my first question in this forum, but I viewed it many times and I found people here very helpful and experienced.
I have a C230 2006 (gulf specs) auto transmission, which I bought at the beginning of this year. It has done 100,000 Km
It happened to me about 5 times in 3 months: (it happens randomly)
- I am driving on a long or short road and then when I stop and want to move again, I press the gas pedal (obviously). The rpm revs normally, but the car doesn't move (as if I was putting the gear to N).
- Another case happens that when I (obviously) press the gas pedal, the car moves like it lost its torque, and keep moving on a certain gear (not shifting up or down)
What I tried:
I tried changing the gear manually, but no change.
I tried to move the gear to P,N,D... anything, but no change.
No lamp on the dashboard is ON.
The problem disappears once I turn OFF - turn ON the ignition.
What was frustrating that it happened to me when I was stopping before a roundabout and refused to move. The drivers behind me were angry
