Shift linkage not going into drive
Hi all,
I have a 2000 clk 430 with the amg package and i had bought the car totaled and fixed it back to pristine condition. Today i got the car back from the mechanic shop. The first thing i noticed was the shifter comes out of park and it goes into reverse and it goes into neutral but when i go to put it into drive its still by the neutral selector on the console. It feels like there is a wall when to try to slightly force it to go further. I want to post this to the form to see if any one else has the same problem and if there is a way to fix it before i go spending more money on my car.
