2005 C230 Kompressor Sedan
P0453

Good morning,

A couple weeks ago I bought a 2005 C230 Kompressor sedan with 58,000 miles on it. About 2 days after driving it off the lot, the check engine light came on. I immediately got it scanned it at Autozone, a P0453 (Evaporative Control System Pressure Sensor High Input) popped. I called the dealership they said they'd fix it free of charge. They ended up replacing the fuel cap, not even 2 days after they replaced the fuel cap the check engine light came on again. I've done a little research on problems that are associated with the P0453 code but nothing definite.

My question is; considering the car only has 58,000 mile on it, from the experience of MB World what would probably be the most common problem associated with the P0453 code on a C230?

-Thanks
Stephen
