Interior light problem needs help!

One of my rear courtesy light ( in the bottom of the door) stays on no matter that door is opened or closed.(it stays on until the automatic timer shuts all lights off after 5 minutes).

It is not beause of the door light switch (you know, the switch will be pushed in when you close the door and it will pops up again when the door is opened.) because I had switched over with the other side and confirmed that the switch is functioning properly.

This problem causes the rear dome light on too that I have to disconnect it.

Can anyone give me some hints please?

Seems that you have a wiring problem that causes the system to think a door is open. Have you tested the other door switches or wrung out the wireing

Could be a broken wire, bad connection causing an open circut or a bad ground. Why not just take it to a dealer and have them fix it.
