Be glad when it's fixed!
You could swap injectors or put some techron in it and drive for a week. When it misfires, does the check engine light blink?
Is it hard to swap injectors? PITA etc? Do you need to be a Cirque Du Soleil performer etc
I did run two bottles of SWEPCO 503 fuel improver. It may have helped - a little, but then it happened again
It seems to happen when it's been driven for ~10+minutes, and if you gun it when the rev's are low like ~2000. The CHECK ENGINE blinks, then goes on solid, and it runs like crap in limp-home mode. I slipped it in neutral and coasted, switched off engine, waited 2-3 seconds, then started / put back in drive, and all was good except the CHECK ENGINE light remained on until being reset. The code was also P0308 again, misfire on cyl#8.Fun fun fun

Now it has a new fuel filter in it. Now I'll drive it a bit to see how it goes. Next adventure will be to replace the #8 injector.
BTW - New injectors are hard / impossible to come by for the AMG E55?? The only options I found was rebuilt injectors?? I'l dig some more.
