Brake Hold

Total newbie here. Bought my first Mercedes 2 weeks ago. Very clean 2003 SLK230 Kompressor. Does it have the "Brake Hold" feature? If so how does it work?

That model wont have the brake hold function.
It does have a form of hill hold though. If you have the transmission model selector switch in W or C it won't let the car roll backwards on hills but the car will try and start off in second gear so it may be a bit slower on the take off.
