No crank on c270 cdi

C270 Cdi Auto avant-garde 2002
No crank on c270 cdi
So i replaced front sam
on my c270 cdi auto
avant-garde year 2002
problem.is it all turns on connects ect
but nothing on tje turn of the key no crank also fan now comes on continuos at higg speed which it didnt before
prior to replacing the front sam the car had gone into limp mode and cranked but wouldnt start
any ideas folks
also note when i removed sam module i removed water guard ect to access properly. and disconnected ecu this was off for a couple of days
