7G Control unit

Hi Everybody, I fitted a new REM Control unit in my 7G box. all was going good till Sunday, again the speed sensors is not sending signals out.

Is there anywhere else I can look for the problem? another control unit for the gearbox under the dash maybe? Where does the wires go that comes from the gearbox? ECU? What ECU?

Is there any IT Technicians for Merc that can help me? This 7G box went into limp mode again.

Is there a complete wiring diagram for the c320CDI

Sorry if I sound Bossi here it is not my intension, I just realy need help.

Thank you, I'm in South Africa

Thanks Plutoe, I could not log into the Forum for the last week or so. Internet connection problems. But yes we changed the Adaptor plate in the gearbox again with a new one and the problem is still there. We cannot get any signal from the Speed sensors in the Gearbox.

Where else can I look for the problem? Is it maybe a connection problem? A Relay? This Car is currently mind bogging.

Hi Plutoe, the REM control unit is short for remanufactured adapter plate( pc board in the gearbox. ). Sorry if my translation is not up to standard.

I'm currently on my 3'rd adapter plate in the gearbox and all of them accept the first one say no signal from speed sensors. The first one did not save adaptations on gears 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 but the speed sensors was ok. now the last two adapter plates is not giving any signals from the speed sensors, and the car stays in limp mode.

I think Clive that work on the Gearbox is using STAR for his home screen on his 32" screen is pictures of all the different Mercedes models. He is getting his readings from a unit that plugs into the car that send info to his computer via Bluetooth or WiFi. I can ask him if it will make things easier to diagnose.
