Strapping down a '13 SL550 on my tilt trailer
My wife and I are traveling throughout the US on an indefinite road trip to explore the country. I have a car trailer that I'll be using to transport my '13 SL550, but not sure the specifics really.
I'm interested in wheel nets as I think I'd be most comfortable with them, but I'm not sure how they are crossed if they are for side mounting (unless you put them on backwards). Could someone help guide me with straps to purchase and perhaps a video showing how exactly to put them on? Most videos I've watched on YouTube weren't very helpful or only showed a glimpse.
Also, I'm assuming I simply put the car in park with the emergency brake on after loading it up. If anyone has any additional advice, I'm all ears.
Here's my setup in case it's useful to know:
Towing vehicle: 2015 F150 SuperCrew Platinum w/ tow package
2013 MB SL550
2017 IronWorks Eliminator Series Tilt Trailer w/ 8-10 d-rings
Thanks!
