600sel won't start, help me

i was driving my car and it was shaking and choking like it didnt get anough fuel, it was driving wors and wors, untill stoped, i towed the car, replaced engine wiring harness, air flow meters, air flow meter connectors with wiring, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator, and the car still won;t start, it starts for few seconds stols, and i smell fuel in garage ones i try to start it,,,, i don't know what els it can be, can anyone help me? thanks in advance, Jake

If you smell fuel the EHA could be leaking. If this is so replace it right away! Risk of fire!

Otherwise the OVP relay could be burned out. When this happens the fuel injection control unit shuts off, and the engine runs on mechanical fuel injection.

well i think the gas is coming out of the exhaust coz there is smoke from exhaust, and can i fix the ovp, and what is the ovp?? thanks

If there is smoke coming from the exhaust, it could be from worn valve stem seals. This creates blue smoke. If you see steam water is getting into the combustion chamber through a failing head gasket.

The OVP is the overvoltage protection relay. Abnormal voltages can damage the electronic control units in the car, and the OVP blows its fuse when such voltages are present. It is located in the engine compartment on the passenger side behind a plastic cover.

the fuse in the engine is on the pasenger side or driver side, becouse i have fuse box on the driver side but i dont see ovp fuse, am i searching right??

Start with the simple things. Are you getting fuel pressure? More specific, enough fuel pressure?

well i don't know, noone i know has the fuel pressure guagefor mercedes, but i just towed my car to a shop today, they said they would diagnos it, will see if they will do it, im goin there tomorrow and tell you guys what's new, thanks for all help, talk to you tomorrow
