Chevron, Exxon, Shell, etc. all have 93-Octane "premium" gasonline, but are there any brands that stand out above the others as better for your engine? Thanks!

Most Petroleum companies swap gas depending on refinery & gas station locations. Gas related problems are generally attributable to gas station owners not maintaining their reservoirs adequately (water accumulation) or just plain tampering with the gasoline.

Most all major brands are pretty much the same today although each tells you of its attributes within its advertising. I use primarilly SUNOCO and when not available I use MOBIL. Have never had a gas related problem with any of my Benz's not other vehicle fot that matter. With the MB's I use 93 octane as 91 is not available in my area

Mobile?! Is that the Alabama specific brand?

Doesn't AMG suggest Mobil1 synthetic oil? I don't recall any fuel recommendation.
