60,000 mile b service

I have a 2000 E55 AMG (W210). According to the FSS, its time for the 60,000 mile B service. My question is:

(1) just exactly what is done?
(2) is the transmission fluid changed?
(3) is the ignition coil changed?

I ask b/c I know I am going to get a big bill from the dealer so I just wanted to know what exactly they are going to do? Thanks ahead of time for any reason!!!

Go to MBUSA and use the find dealer option. Once you are on your dealers web page, you can find this info in the Service area of the page. It is pretty much a cookie cutter MBUSA design page that MBUSA gives them.

I'm sure they will recommend a lot of additional lthings depending on the milage and age of the vehicle. Of course all at additional charges.

You don't get brake fluid changed or a flush with any FSS service. It is reccomended by benz every 2 years.

If the car is in for an A or B service and it is near the 2-year anniversary of the in-service date, it gets a brake fluid flush under warranty. Same with the coolant at the 3-year mark. Unfortunately, since you are at the 60K mark, your car is out of warranty. You will also not get the dust filters or wiper insert included with the service, you will have to ask for those. I'd recommend changing the fuel filter too, it needs it every 60K miles.
