Help troubleshooting SRS light (B48 codes 90A6, 9024, 902C and 902D)
I have a 2006 W219 CLS 500, and the SRS light is on.
Scanning it, I noticed four codes in the SRS system: 90A6, 9024, 902C and 902D. The scan is attached. The datastream also shows the "Passenger Seat" signal as "Signal Not Available" or "Fault".
I've tried to disconnect the harness to the B48 unit and connect a Type 3 passenger seat emulator without luck. I've tested the ground and positive cables in the harness, and they're providing 11v+. Is there a way to test the signal cable with a multimeter?
Question: Do I have to connect all the other sensors in the B48 harness to make the seat emulator work?
If not, how can I troubleshoot and find the source of the problem?
Data shows the passenger seat as assigned, no faults in any other SRS data stream. What's the deal with code 90A6?
