I'm a recent owner of a Mercedes ML AMG 2007. I lock the door with the button in the door handle and the car locks. The 3 flashes from the lights go on. I left the key and the immobilizer square thing away from the car. I pull the handle and the locks pop up. I pull it again and it opens but the alarm goes off. How can I lock it without it opening?

 

Did you try on another door? how far away was the key from car?
