Sequentronic

Mercedes-Benz does not have a manual gearbox that can handle more than the torque of the 3.2 litre V6.

The Sequentronic gearbox is based upon the M-B 6 speed manual gearbox, the only main differences between the manual and Sequentronic being that in the latter, the shifter forks are operated by servos, as is the clutch.

Because of the relatively low torque capacity of the only manual gearbox made for its RWD cars, it would not be possible for M-B to fit it to an SL 55 AMG.

If you have lots of money, you could always get an aftermarket system fitted, which would likely cost more than the car...
